Hello BYC! So I have three call ducks that I hatched about two months ago they are starting to learn to fly and I think some of them are even trying to. I don’t know if they’d ever want to fly away and they haven’t started free ranging yet. When should I start clipping their wings? I’m pretty sure I know how but I’m a little nervous. my favorite one seems to be flying. The best which is concerning. She has very pretty wings and I’d rather not clip them. Does anybody have any advice for me?

Any help would be very appreciated! Thank you!

Here’s a picture of her and her siblings.

If you clip them, then they'll look just like regular wings when they're walking around

Yes. Even if they don't mean to, it's very easy for them to go for a fly and get lost
OK, thank you! One more question if I clip the hen wings and not the drakes, would they just stay with the hen(again still going to clip all just curious)?
