Yes I have new chicks when should I start feeding alittle grit along with feed?

bout 50 chickens don't know at the cats but no rats or mice, two small dogs but we had't told them that they are dogs Yet ,and one very understanding and loving Wife.

IMO, no, I just throw some on the ground every now and then. Gives the chickens something to do, LOL

OOPS!!! Chicks don't need grit if they're only getting starter/grower crumbles. It doesn't need grit to be digested. When they are about 6 weeks old or so, and can eat other goodies, then it's time.
