When should I start to worry or help?

Hi! I’m really new here and have a question about my duck eggs. It is day 28 (hatch day) and they have been internally pipped for about a day now. I couldn’t see a defined beak, but it looked as though the duckling had broken into the air sack and I could hear peeps and scratching. Should I make a safte6 hole around noon today, since that’s what time I heard peeping and scratching yesterday? How long will the air in the egg last until the ducklings suffocate? I read through a lot of how to help a hatching egg articles but I’m still not quite sure what to do. Some say wait 18 hours after the internal pip, while I read a post that said they waited days!

Once again, when should I make a safety hole? They internally pipped yesterday but have not yet externally pipped.
These are Khaki Campbell eggs, by the way. Sorry if this is the wrong place. Didn’t know if it should be here or in the “Ducks” section.

PLEASE give help ASAP. I’m a new duck owner and really want a successful hatch!
