I bought a auto turner for my incubator should I start turning them from day 4 as I did my last three times when I had to turn them by hand or should I start from day one or two

I think she’s just asking if she should start turning on day one, the way she did when she was turning them by hand... or if she should wait until later because of having the auto-turner?

I think(?) the only time you wait a couple days to begin turning (manually or automatically) is with shipped eggs, to give the air cell a chance to stabilize after going thru the mail.

I’ve never tried to hatch eggs though— I’m just going from what I think I remember reading here.
Good luck with your new incubator! :D

Yes I believe you are correct.

I just watched a german video talking about that. It actually depends on your machine if you turn starting with day 1 or day 4. If your machine does quick turns within a few seconds then you start with day 4. If your machine has a very slow turning device (like mine takes 2 hours to turn and does 12 turns in a 24hr period). then you can start with day 1.
