when should i start turning off the light at night in the brooder?

the temp is close enough that it should not make too much of a difference. should i start getting them ready for the nights outside?
 
Full feather is six to eight weeks, breed dependent. Sizzles are often not ready for lightlessness in cooler weather til 10 weeks or later.

Either they can or they can't maintain their body temps. When you put them out - just rig a place they can get to the light if they need it and don't worry. If they need heat they go to it. If they don't they just go about their business.

The day night cycle doesn't figure into it. They'll figure that one out.

As long as they can warm up if they need it - then all should be well.
