When should I switch from alfalfa hay to Timothy hay for my rabbit

Just do any dietary changes slowly mixing old and new. I raised my last litter on grass and grass hay along with a pellet and they did fine. So feed what you have access to as far as hay.

With rabbits keep it simple, pellets, hay, water, and not too much for treats when it is older, over 6 months, and your bunny won't have problems.

I use al types of hay with my older rabbits they get timothy all the time and I mix the others and feed it as a treat
