I have a 8ish week old dark cornish "pullet". The tail feathers are a bit frizzled looking and not really the nice round feathers I'm used to for a older pullet/hen. The comb is practically non existent and definitely barely pink. I'm hoping beyond hope it's a pullet, but if so she is a mean pullet because in just holding it for a few minutes it has pecked hard several times and bit me three times lol. The smaller sibling I have is closer to 5 or 6 weeks by size difference and I'm more definite on it being pullet as it has more color, round er tail feathers and has only pecked me once. (The breeder had 3 groups one just over a month, one around 2 months and one around 3 months. I asked for the youngest she had that she was pretty positive were pullets and she said she'd get me ones that she was sure on. )
I'm new to Cornish and maybe they are just more aggressive than I'm used to though.
Sorry for the mess in the pics. The carrier is just for a few days while we fix the new hole in the fence lol.
The bigger/forefront one is the one in questions.
