When should they feather out?

Mine are going on a month old and only are getting wing feathers and tail feathers. I thought I might be keeping them too warm so I backed off on trying to turn their light on now and again.

Their feathers will develop on schedule whether you keep them too warm or not. In fact, keeping them too cold may slow the development even further. Everything happens in its own time. Patience...

I would recommend increasing their protein intake, but then you risk triggering angel wing. It is best if you just feed them a balanced diet and let them have the time they need.

Some of my month olds just have some wing and tail feathers. Don't worry about it. They all develop differently.

Even some of the ones in the same flock will develop differently and slower than others.

Relax and enjoy them. They grow so quickly!

Ok, thank you both. This is my first time raising goslings so I have a lot to learn. I have learned they DO in fact grow fast!
