when should we hear peeping?

hello everyone, my husband and i are in the process of our 2nd hatch, and in day 19, should we begin to hear the chicks peeping tomorrow or the next day? day 21 on tuesday around 2:30 in the afternoon. hoping so much for the little ones to hatch. we love our roo and his ladies.

I am by no means an expert, but our peeping usually starts the day before or the day of hatching.............They get busy in there and let us know!

Don't always hear peeping. Sometimes you do the day before hatch day, sometimes not.

I usually have pips before any peeping

my silkies peeped in there egg on day 19. my buff orps did not peep till they pipped. just wait for the pip in the early morning

I very rarely hear peeping before they're pipped.

we're in day 20 and we hear peeping and see the eggs moving from side to side. hoping they will pip soon.

have fun on the waiting. they torture you. 1 hour you have a hairline crack. 2 hours you have a pip. 3 hours or more you have a chick. sometimes they are quicker and sometime they are slower then a snail racing a turtle
