When Should we put them in the coop?

Hello,
We resently bought a baby chick hoping the other full grown chickens would accept her, they ignored her so we had to buy another chick for Pecky. So the question is when will we be able to put both chicks in the coop? The Employee said 4 months they just get so smelly though!

You actually were lucky in that the adults ignored her, as some adults will kill baby chicks. I wouldn't put them in with adults until they're at least big enough to defend themselves a bit...maybe 8 weeks, although most advice older. Can you partition off part of the existing run so that (if they're feathered out) they can be in part of the run so the adults become accustomed to them for a few weeks???
