When to add scratch

When do you all start adding scratch grains for new chicks.

I have some month olds that do little more than scratch at the litter all day, might be nice for them to find some cracked corn now and then.

I think it would be ok to start introducing them to scratch now. They do like to find treats. Mostly, that is what chickens do, look for food most of the day, you can even throw some small worms, even some pincher bugs in there for them to find and chase each other over!

Mine are just over a month old and I have started putting a handful of grit and scratch in the brooder for them. They seem to love it and are doing great.
