when to allow access to nesting box?

Hi,
my pullets will be 15 weeks on Monday. When should I uncover their nesting box? I don't want them to poo in it! Any ideas?

I am also watching for input...as my pullets are 12 weeks with the nest boxes boarded up. thanks for posting this question!

18 to 22 weeks is when they normally start

but for me when my pullets went into their final runs at about 15 weeks, they had full access....just have to clean the boxes..LOL
