When to close windows in my Coop??

It has been getting into the 40s at night and I was wondering if it is time to close the windows in my converted playhouse/coop at night. There are 3 large windows, and the long roost is right up to one of them. I know chickens are cold hardy, but would it hurt to close them at night and reopen in the day? Our temps are still close to 80 during the day.

I close the window closest to the perch at night. I do leave the other window 2'x4' open. Just so there is not a draft blowing across them.

I'm in Texas also & the weather is great. It sounds like your set up is like mine. My birds seem fine. I got my first egg yesterday so I'm not gonna change anything that's for sure. Enjoy the weather & your birds. After the hot summer we had its great to get things done without sweating.
