When to CULL EGGS?

I have candled my eggs and noticed that TWO have some dark blobs that float to the top no matter how they are positioned. They are at day 10 (beginning of day 11) and the others all show little swimmers in there. I don't want the eggs exploding on me and contaminating the rest of my hatch, so should I cull them? Do I crack them to make sure that there was no development. Or just toss them in the trash can and never look back. I guess I feel a little bit sad throwing out what could have been a baby chick. I know I can't let them contaminate the rest of the healthy eggs, but I just need a talking to....

Aren't the yolks supposed to be attached? When we candled our eggs, if we had "sloshy" eggs we pitched them. I would crack the eggs (outside, and carefully) so to see what's happening. If it's bad you'll know what's happening for next time. If other eggs get older and you have doubts, don't crack them anywhere close to you.

I pitch around day 10 ifno signs of life are there. The blob, in my experience has been a deceased young embryo. I crack all of my culls to see what happened.

I don't cull any eggs until day 13 or 14, because you never are truly sure. It is always best to give them a little longer to see how things run - I've had ones that looked like the cloudiest mess, but without any veins visible - I gave it some days later, and it developed a nice little chick inside.
