When to introduce?

Hi everyone! I have two five week old chicks that I'll be introducing to my flock in about a month and a half. I pretty much have a plan for how I'm going to do it. I'm now just curious if any of you have gone through this and how you handled it.

With my set up, I raise them in a tractor. Once the plug is pulled on their heat I wheel it near where the flock pastures so they can see and get to know each other. At around 12 weeks I put the tractor in the pasture for a closer interaction. After a week or so a I let them loose to range together. Closer to the POL I put them in the coop and put the tractor away.
