When to let Mom and babies out with the rest of the flock?

I gave my broody Australorp hen 4 fertile eggs to sit on and two of them hatched! The babies are close to 3 weeks old now and it is looking like mom is getting bored with being away from her girlfriends. When is it ok to let her bring the babies out to run around with her? They have been within sight of the rest of my chickens so the babies won't come as a surprise! Thanks for advice!

Every bird and flock are different. I would go ahead and try, she should protect them. Watch a couple hours but they should be fine.
