My babies are now almost seven days old they are in the brooder, when do I move them to the big kid coop? pI want to work this out before the time so its set up

They will need to be in the brooder until they are fully feathered, generally 6 weeks. If these are coturnix quail, your temp from day one should have been around 95 degrees. The temp is then lowered each week by 5 degrees, so your quail should be now at 90 degrees. Keep lowering the heat by 5 degrees for the next 6 weeks. When you do move them outside into the "big coop", you will probably still need to add some heat at night for a week or two, being that this is winter.

Are you keeping your chicks in the brooder for 6 weeks because you live in cold climate? My chicks are 2 weeks old and look well-feathered. That said, it is 87° F here today in southern CA at the beginning of November. What is a reasonable night time temperature for them to tolerate?
Thanks!

Mine go out at 2 weeks with a supplemental heat lamp in the coop (60W). They are fully feathered and stanky, so out they go. I put some out last week and for the first few days they stayed near the lamp but now I see them hanging out outside the warm sheltered area. It's about 40 at night, so they are sleeping in there.

Nothing to add, @TwoCrows has said it all.

I kicked mine out early too. The daytime temps were warmer than my house and they had the heat plate for nighttime.
