When to move chicks outside?

When do you move your Ringneck Pheasant and Chukar Chicks outside? Would moving them outside at 4 weeks be ok? The growout cage has plywood backs and sides, a hardware cloth front and hardware cloth floor, so it would be free of drafts I guess you could say. If I did, I would only plan on cutting heat lamps on them at night if temps got below 50 degrees which they shouldnt. I live in Virginia and dont think we will have any more cooler weather this year though

I move mine outside into growing pens at 3 weeks. And use a heat lamp on them at night, more for the light to eat and drink than for the heat. Our day temps have been around 104 and down to around 80 at night, so heat is not much of a concern, but I wouldn't let your birds get below about 80-85 day or night.
