I have 12 chicks ranging from 6 weeks to 4 weeks in age. I currently have them in my living room which is kept at 70 and recently took away their heat lamp. They are doing great. I have a chicken coop that is insulted and was wondering if I could put them out there with a heat lamp as they are getting too big for where I have them now. The outdoor temperatures here in NH range from the low to mid 30s at night and range anywhere from low to mid 40s and sometimes low 50s during the day. Thanks for any responses.

Yes definitely get them out to the coop with the heat lamp. You should be able to wean them off of it pretty quickly after that. I think both you and the chicks will be happier.
