When to move mama and the babies with the big ladies?

We have a broody hen laying on some eggs they are due to hatch the beginning of may they are going to be in an enclosed space but at what point can i let her and the babies out with the other chickens? Do i have to wait until they are completely grown or just when they are a little old like a month?

I usually wait until the chicks are two weeks, it takes them that long to become strong enough and coordinated enough to be able to get away from the older birds. During the two weeks I make sure the flock can all see them and become familiar with them. Most mom hens will defend their chicks. Sometimes a hen might have problems with the mom hen and want to fight with her, hopefully you don't have that trouble.
