When to move quail into the adults

I have an almost 5 week old quail, when should I move it in with the adults

Normally around 5wks onwards fully feathered chick's should be ok to mix with adults

Side by side introductions first ... for a couple of days. I section off a bit of my habitat with chicken wire. Then after a few days take them all out and clean the enclosure and move things around then put them all back in together minus the chicken wire. I just added 3 2 week olds to my covey this way (my lot are indoors and they have a heat mat on the bottom tier)

One of my pairs has adopted them as theirs
