I have four baby chicks. Three of them are 5 weeks and the other is 3. We started putting them out in their coop during the day for a little while ( our brooder box is in my spare room, lol) and finally a couple of days ago we began to leave them out all day and we'd bring them in at sundown. We were going to leave them out all night last night but when we went out to check on them they were in the run, not their coop huddled by the run door. Do we need to lock them in their coop, are they too young still, and what about the three week old?? I'm a complete chicken virgin and I need answers PLEEEEEZ!
