when to put my chicks outside

You know I need to see a picture? I love my silkies,

A pools way to deep for them,
I use an old pie plate from the second hand store. You want them to be able to step in, Ive floated treats in it too..

Think of them as kids that want to have fun..like Carol my hen that really , really wants to flyView attachment 1471824

Carol is so pretty! I really want a splash silkie but my chicks are a black, grey, and white (I also had a buff but she died)

I will try and get a picture for you of my gals chilling in their pool. Another person in AZ posted a picture on facebook of an egg in the chickens pool. One of her hens decided to just stay in the pool and lay an egg shallow water bowls and shade is a must in the heat.
