I have 17 chickens who are 3 months old, and they are out in the coop, and actually I have recently been allowing them to roam outside of their fenced in yard. All has been going well. I also have 18 chicks who are two weeks old, they are feathering nicely, even flying about some. They are in a brooder in the house. and I'm having trouble keeping the temp down in the room they are in. It goes over 90 daily, and sometimes over 100, I haven't been using the heat lamp for days, and it only has a 100 watt bulb in it. I'm wondering how soon can I put them in the coop with the other 3 month old chicks? Its been so hot lately. and even at night, in the house is often terribly warm/hot. We have an A/C only in the bedroom and only use it at night. If the older chicks weren't out in the coop, I know they would be fine out there... I just don't know when to put young ones with the older ones.

Thank you for your help!

Okay. Thanks for your help. Must be that the bigger ones will pick on the smaller ones. I will have to fix up some sort of different set-up for the small chicks out in my horse barn. The house is just to hot. And their running outta room anyway. Thank You!
