When to remove chicks from incubator

Hi Everyone,
What is your experience with leaving chicks in the incubator for 12 hours after hatch even if other chicks are still in the process of hatching? I’ve read it’s good best practice,I’ve also read it’s best to remove them ASAP. Assuming the chicks are not ill, injured or bullies. Obviously that’s a different story, I just mean general best practice.
