My duck hatched her eggs late last night and I don't plan on keeping them(if I do I'll have 17 ducks running around) I want to sell or give them away. But I don't know when to take them away from their mother or does it matter?

If you know you're getting rid of them, sooner is better than later. You have to remember that many of us incubate, so our ducklings are never with their mother. Any duckling that seems normal and healthy can be rehomed to someone who understands how to care for infant ducklings. In general, the younger ducklings are, the easier they are to sell or rehome for free, and it's also easier for their new owner to bond with them when they're younger. You just want to make sure you take proper care of them and their mother for the time they're with you.
