when to seperate baby chicks

I had 6 bb bantams chicks know i only got 5 because 1 dident make it but i got a question when is it time to seperate them i got 2 roosters and 3 chickens they are about 8 weeks old

You don't need to separate them for any other reason than you don't want the roos to fertilize your hens eggs. They can grow up side by side with no problems, the roos will figure out the pecking order among themselves. Fertilized eggs aren't a problem if none of your hens go broody or you just gather your eggs daily you won't have anymore chicks.
