Hi all! First timer here. I have five healthy lovely Delaware/Dorking mix hens. All 10 weeks old. They have a 4x4x4 raised coop they sleep in and a covered run that's 20 x 4. I thinks that's plenty room, but I would like to let them venture out into the backyard. Are they too young? When the time is right I'll buy some tall movable fencing. I'm worried about Hawks and them flying over the fence. [IMG]

Hawks can be a problem during the day. It's a personal decision. They are old enough.
I let my chicks choose to go out as soon as they want.
