When to start Lock down.

Monday is day 17. Do I do Lock Down end up day 17, beginning of day 18 or end of day 18? Last hatch I had an early hatcher. Piped day 19 and hatched 4am day 20. I set the eggs I set the midnight, night of the 11th. So day one was technically the 13th. So would I start lockdown Monday or Tuesday this week? So confused.

These are for Chicken Silkie bantam eggs.

Why day 19? Curious as I've always heard day 18?

I've never had a chick hatch on day 18 so I wait until day 19. Either will work

Lat hatch I had a early hatcher start to hatch early day 19. Would that matter? Could I still do Lock down on day 19? Or just if I see a pip earlier increase the humidity?

I started lock down tonight, day 18. Did candling before and have 1 internal pip with peeping and another you can hear scratching.
