Yes get them as soon as you can. I wasnt going to get mine until next spring as well, now I have 6 hens 10 weeks old and 14 meat birds. I think the thing is to learn as much as you can as you go and address the issues as they come. There was no way to predict some of the things that has happened to us but its really great once you have them! I live in Canada and Im not sure where you live but I ordered mine from Freys and I know of Bergs. In the states I heard of McMurray....I think I will order from them next year sinc I live right beside one of the borders.
