Hi folks,

When is a good time to switch over a 4 month old seabright to layer feed?

My girls started laying at about 16 weeks. Thats when I switched them over. I had just bought a 50# bag of grower feed/crumbles. I mix the layer pellets and crumble together. I also started giving them some oyster shells for calcium, even though their shells are tough as nails.

thank you! she is 16 weeks old, and doesn't look any like a rooster, but crows everyday. I'm not sure if she/he will lay. so maybe i should switch over at this point?
