When to switch to laying mash?

My 10 hens are 3 month old big girls. I feed them Nutrena Start and Grow. When do I switch them over to a laying mash? Should I wait untill I see the first egg. They free range during the day and have 24 hour access to food and water.

You can switch them around 18 to 20 weeks or when you get your first egg; whichever comes first.
I highly recommend you try layer pellets. I love them because there is much less waste.

Go with Gritsar and use pellets. There is much less waste with them.
