My hens are in between 16 & 18 weeks old; I was wondering if I can go ahead and switch them to a layer feed? I have some 14 week old hens so I'm guessing they have to stay on the starter?

Go ahead and switch them get your layer and mix it with what you have left of starter so its not a sudden shock of new food to thier system

you can change them all at once and they'll be just fine. We mix the new feed in over time. start with something like 25% new feed mixed with 75% current feed. then 50-50, then 75-25 untill all hte old feed has been used up.

unless you like catering and serving them all seperatly

LOL! Well, I'm a bad mom. The 14 week olds are actually 16 weeks.
