When to turn call duck eggs?

I am lucky enough to have a friend lending me an incubator. I have collected 5 eggs from my calls. I was told to bring them in the house. They are sitting in a bowl on my kitchen counter. When are you supose to turn them? I know the incubator will once it comes on saturday but someone else told me i should be turning them every day. As you can tell i don't know ANYTHING about this. Do they mean turn them while they are on my counter or when they're in the incubator? Whow that makes me sound so dumb. I'm realy not, well maybe when it comes to duck eggs. So take pitty on someone who wants to do this right and i don't want to be heart brocken if i do it wrong. The girl lending me the incubator knows all about chickens but nothing about ducks. Turn them once a day before going into the inc. then three or more times a day after they are in the inc.

If the bator isn't coming until Sat. and you need at least 24 hrs, maybe more, to get the temp and humidity stable before you put the eggs in, I would not leave the eggs in the kitchen. They need to be kept somewhere cool, like a basement closet. You should turn them every day like anaiyuk said. Once the bator is stable, bring the eggs up and let them sit and room temp for a few hours before placing them in the bator. Good luck.

Thanks for the reply. Now there's more questions. Do i mark the eggs and then turn them 1/2 way, and the next time i turn them until i see the mark again? They were brought in yesturday. They used to be in the chicken and duck shed in a nest or should i say old fridge crisped drawer with shavings in it. Everytime i found an egg i put it in with the others until my favorite chicken desided that was a great spot to lay her eggs. Should i put them back outside because i can make sure they would be safe. Or do i keep bringing them in? If the bator is made to turn the duck eggs do i still turn them too or do i leave it up to a machine that is supose to know what to do better than a newby like me?

I put my call duck eggs in an egg carton with the air sac (big end) up if i'm not storing them for more than a few days. Then I store them in a cool place- around 55*. So any new ones you find could be stored in this way.
I just had a call duck hatch about an hour ago. It's a blue fawn x pastel.
