I am so sorry that her wounds are so nasty. The bones at the back of the jaw sounds horrendous. I'll keep an eye on this thread and hope she pulls through, poor little thing.

Shes been eating and drinking bit. Shes got one eye shut now i think neosporin got in it not sure what to do about that.
I got some vetericym for cleaning the wounds.
There is some extra skin at the base of her kneck wonderin if theres away to pull it up a bit.

Things are looking up. Shes always standing pretty much acting normal. Ive been giving her space just coming in to do the neccesary. Shes the most wild of my hens not really much for petting like her half sister.
Shes layed 2 eggs since the incident which surprised me i thought she was mostly done i guess i dont know enough.

Today she drank some electrolytvitamin water and ate some scrambled egg as i held them upto her.not sure if she does it alone.

Right now shes got a single lightbulb on in the bathroom during the day. Good or bad? Would you keep it dark?or leave some stimulation.

I was able to trim some feather but am afraid to completely hold her down like most people can. Gonna try a bit more each day.
