When to worry about pinking up in Brahma.

Hey Flock! I have a light brahma "sexed pullet" (I know there is still a chance she is a he.) that has me a bit worried.. her wattles are pinking a bit and her face, but not her comb, is too..... she is around 8 wks old. I can't post pictures because I can't find my uploading cord

They can pink up due to excitement or stress. But true reddening 8 weeks or younger makes for good chances of being cockerel.

hmm.. she looks older than mine... so maybe she is like 7 weeks? sorry... I know pics would help!

Good to know! there is no true reddening, slightly pink.

Pink has never worried me much, but red says rooster! I had a pullet that was pink earlier than all the others, I'm glad she was a true pullet. Nothing like buying a pullet and it being a cockerel.
