I have a buff orpington and i was wondering how old will they most likely be. when they go broody and,which batch of eggs will they go broody in.

Not all pullets/hens go broody. There is not specific age. They generally go broody on a nest or in a specific location. They graft more to the nest than to eggs. You may or may not get a broody. It's controlled by the birds hormones.
