When will 10 month Brahma hen start laying?

Next week my buff Brahma will be 10 months old and she still isn’t laying. I feel like most others say their brahmas started laying around 6-7 months. Any of you out there have late maturing brahmas? Is this normal?

She'll lay when she's ready.

Brahmas tend to be slow maturing anyways.

Right now it's just a waiting game. You can usually get a pretty good idea how close they are to laying based on comb size and color got any pictures?

Haha I’m so impatient!! Here are two from two weeks ago. Her comb doesn’t look as red as some of my other girls before they started laying.
