hey bycers!
I have 3 eggs in my incubator, 2 pure silkie eggs and 1 black australorp crossed with a silkie. The cross chicken egg has been wiggling when I cluck and chirp to it from outside of the bator. (No judgment :lau)
It's moves quite a bit. But still no chirping. But my other batches never ever chirped when about to hatch.

So I was wondering, when will it start to pip or hatch?

Humidity:65
Temperature:99.5-101
Still air

Any help would be appreciated thanks

If they are chirping that usually means they are internally pipped. It can take up to 48 hours after internal pip to completely hatch...rocking is a sign that its getting ready. U can candle to see if its internally pipped as well but try not to open the incubator too much, or at all after an external pip

Hey it's been a couple of hours now and still no pipping or chirping. I'm not worried at all because I will just let nature do its thing! So I'm thinking maybe in 48 hours it is going to hatch. What do you think? Also it's still moving around in the bator.
Thanks for replying

What day of incubation are you on?
I am on say 20 today. This morning I looked in my bator and it WAS 34%!!!!!!
Would you happen to know what went on and how it went that low? The bator was closed. I quickly through a sponge in there and it won't go jigher the. 60% and I usually have it at 65%-70%. What should I do? I checked on the egg that was moving and it's still wobbling. And still no chirping from it just as I expected.
Can someone please give me an answer?
