mine is 8 or 9 weeks old now...quite large (about the size of a full grown mallard) but has very few 'proper' feathers..just a few on its tail and a fewon the wings. the rest is aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllllllll fluff!

when i hatched mallards they seemed to have most of their feathers pretty quickly....are muscovys a bit slower in that department?

When I had muscovies they did develop slower than the other breeds- but were larger and had more feathers than yours by the sounds of things. Males do usually grow faster ( and ultimately bigger ) than the females- so heres hoping you have a little female- but it does sound slow even for a muscovy. It may just be a runt that will end up OK in the end.
What does it eat?? Does it seem to be a fussy or picky eater-or will it eat anything offered to it??
Enjoy it while you can... It will be huge and fully feathered soon enough.
