When will chickens lay eggs after moving home?

I got two chickens just two days ago and the move doesn't seem to have affected there laying. Within less than 24 hrs they both layed a healthy egg each (one egg was in the small size) and within 48 hrs they had both laid more good sized healthy eggs. Which was surprising seeing as not only have they moved house but had to get used to a novice looking after them and a huge dog being around too. They both seem happy and content.
