When will he crow!!

Hi All,

I've got a rooster roughly around 17wks old. Never had a boy before and was wondering when he'll start to crow?

You never know. I have one that crowed at 4wks and one that is almost 2 years old and has NEVER crowed!

He isn't, I'm not sure why. I purchased 3 Jersey Giants and I thought I got 1 roo and 2 hens, because the one rooster is huge!! They're all the same age. But I recently discovered one of the "hens" grew saddle feathers and a redder face, therefor proving I have a submissive rooster. He doesn't like my rooster flock, but gets along well with my main flock roosters, so I let him stay. He's pretty nice, but I'm not sure why he never matured until so late when his sibling was huge all along.
