When will I be able to tell if my silkie mix has silkie feathering or regular feathering?

This is the mom. She is partridge I believe?

Yes, I have posted them before.
She is half Ameraucana, so similar to half EE, but not quite. Your little one will likely feather in black or blue. Hard to tell for sure in the lighting in the photo.

Interesting! The chick looks either blue or black in the photos provided. If the father is black, then this little one will likely be black, possible with some leakage when it feathers out. If mom has some blue genetics (which looks like she could in her tail feathers) the chick could feather in mostly blue, with or without leakage.
