When will I expect eggs?

Don't really know where to post this topic but I need help. I'm a new raiser, I have a oriental burmese gamefowl hen and rooster. They're about 7 mouth old. The hen's comb are turning red and the rooster has been mounting her for the last past week. How long should it be when I should start seeing eggs? Is this telling me that I should build a nest box? Still a rookie at this, someone please give an answer.

Hi! I do not have experience with that sort of bird, but my chickens started laying near 9 months old. To help your hen(s) out you can make a little nest with straw and put plastic eggs, ping pong balls or anything the chickens might think is an egg.Also, chickens usually like to hide their nests so make sure you look out for eggs in hidden places. Remember chicken's will still sit on it if it's not a natural chicken egg color or shape if it's close enough, it will do. Well anyway this is just my experience. Hope I've helped!
