i got 2 new pullets a while ago. after quarantine, i introduced them to my existing flock a little less than 2 weeks ago. It was a little rough at first so i added 2 more feeders and waterers so everybody got food and water. Now everyone seems to be getting along pretty well. when will i know that the newbies will be aloud to eat and drink without my 2 more dominate hens purposefully keeping them from doing so? i have an existing PVC food and water system id prefer them to use. thanks

When the flock is acting as a unit and the two original hens are not actively attacking the new birds, you can try taking out the extra feeders. Monitor behavior to assure that the new birds are getting to eat and drink.

Sourland said it correctly.
If you still see chicks running from each other or cowering in corners or other such behavior, then you the flock has not merged yet.
