When will @Kiki become the first in BYC history to reach 750,000 reactions? 8/11/2021 9pm EST

Do both, decide what is important and you want to keep and what you can get rid of.
Use my 2 year rule, if it hasn't been on your ass or you haven't used it in 2 years, get rid of it unless it is an antique or family heirloom. NO CHEATING.
I like two years cause the 6 month or even 1 year one is way too short cause sometimes I put things in storage on purpose or forget about them lol I guess that’s the point but still.

I have boxes of my Daddy's stuff, (that I took with me for Katrina). There is nothing of real importance in them. Except they are very important to me. :love
I have no room available in my basement because I moved my father's "clock room" there after he passed in 2000. If someone wanted to be a clock repairman, everything needed is there from the tools and instruction books.

That's what I mean by antiques and family heirlooms. Those cannot be replaced and have no way of placing monetary amounts on them.
I think it is wonderful that you had the presents of mind to keep everything. :love
