Ok thanks I was really hoping they would start to lay soon and also for some reason I can't post a picture . I read somewhere that if your rooster tries to mate them they r almost ready to lay which I have noticed is that true?Usually, they start to lay about a month after the combs first go red. Some will lay a bit earlier, some a bit later. Most red sexlinks will start laying between 18 and 22 weeks. Some people have had them start as early as 14 weeks.
Tax had them labeled as a brown cross , never heard of them but they were sexed pullers so I got themHard to say - if the wattles and combs become large and red recently in a short space of time then eggs soon. Otherwise depending what the cross is might be another 10 weeks. ISA brown start around 21 week on average.
