When will my hens start laying? What will there production be?

It's different for all chickens. I know that when chickens first start laying there not that normal. Do you feed oyster shell and a laying feed?

I started layer feed when I got the first egg when they ran out of food and I had to buy more. I don't offer oyster as it's costly, so I feed them the left over egg shells once a week in a treat of leftovers mixed up and baked in the oven. I also give them yogurt or some form of dairy in a treat once a week. I haven't had any problems with soft shells or anything, yet!
