She will squat down like for you to mate her. That's a sign that they are ready to lay.

There combs are awful small and they do squat but not often

Hmmm, i don't have much experience with Silkies, I do think you should get your first egg in the next month though.

I really want eggs but there combs r small and they squat rarely so i guess itl be another few months :|
