When will my pair mate and begin laying eggs? Northern Wisconsin

Just cuirous if anyone else is up North like me. When do you start getting eggs from your hens? Couple more months?

Thanks!
I am in michigan and I got my first egg in mid January, my barn has lights though they are on for 14 hours a day to help speed up laying

From what others say that live up North, turkeys are seasonal layers and usually don't start laying until April. Maybe others who accually l live up North will chime in here. In Louisiana, they started in December!

Okay thanks no extra lighting here. I have a pair of red bourbon turkeys each our a year old. The Tom is for sure struting all the time but my female doesn't have any interest yet lol. Guess will just wait and see its still really cold up here and lots and lots of snow!

Poor broody hen, she'll lay more, hopefully soon!

I'm sitting, waiting for my first eggs from 5 hens right now. Has anyone gotten any since the last post on this thread? These guys are mating and everything and I am still waiting *sigh*
